The group toured the Maritimes, releasing three albums: 1755, Vivre à la Baie&nbsp;and Synergie. Lyrics to songs like C.B. Buddie, U.I.C.&nbsp;and Le monde qu'on connaît&nbsp;have become part of the Acadian collective imagination.<br><br>1755 formed an alliance with Moncton poet Gérald Leblanc (1945 - 2005), who penned many of their hits, including Le monde a bien changé, La rue Dufferin&nbsp;and Boire ma bouteille. The group is also known for dusting off traditional songs, including Le jardinier du vieux couvent&nbsp;and La maudite guerre.
