Pour débuter sa 21e saison, l’Ensemble Prisme vous emmène dans un monde qui allie la beauté et le raffinement de la musique française avec la profondeur de la musique allemande. Fanny Mendelssohn, sœur du grand Felix, a eu peu de temps pour composer, mais elle nous a laissé notamment un magnifique trio qui nous ouvre les portes d’un monde profond et sensoriel. Pour l’accompagner, le toujours enchanteur Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune de Debussy et, à découvrir impérativement, le premier trio de Camille Saint-Saëns, ce magicien des sons.

To begin its 21st season, Ensemble Prisme invites you into a world that blends the beauty and refinement of French music with the depth of German music. Fanny Mendelssohn, sister of the great Felix, had little time to compose, but she left us, among other works, a magnificent trio that opens the doors to a profound and sensory world. Accompanying it is Debussy’s ever-enchanting Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and, an absolute must-hear, the first trio by Camille Saint-Saëns, this magician of sound.
